Nesting & Nature started with a pretty simple idea: some of the best family memories don’t happen sitting in the living room.

They happen around a backyard fire pit. They happen when you load up the camping gear and head out for the weekend. They happen on a paddle board at the lake, working together in the garden, cooking dinner outside, or lying in a hammock when nobody is in a hurry to go anywhere.

I’ve always believed that home should be more than the place where you keep your stuff. Home should be the basecamp for the life you want to live.

That’s what Nesting & Nature is about.

We look for products that help families enjoy both sides of life—the Nesting and the Nature.

For the Nesting side, that means useful products for the home, mudroom, garden and backyard—things that help make your home a place where your family actually wants to spend time together.

For the Nature side, you’ll find camping gear, outdoor living products, inflatable camping tents, paddle boards, hammocks, outdoor cooking equipment, RV and VanLife gear, gardening essentials, backyard fire pits and family outdoor activities designed to help make getting outside easier and more enjoyable.

But we don’t want Nesting & Nature to become another website filled with thousands of random products.

We want the products we offer to have a reason to be here.

Maybe it solves a problem at the campsite. Maybe it makes traveling in a teardrop camper or RV easier. Maybe it gets the kids outside. Maybe it turns an unused backyard into the family’s favorite gathering place.

Some products we’ll test ourselves. Others we’ll research, compare and explain so you can make a better decision before spending your money. And when there’s something we think you ought to know about a product, we want to tell you that too.
